I have a mobile phone but they can interfere with the brain's own wavelengths. It's good to have a phone if you're in a situation where you need to use one in an emergency, but at the same time the problem is at what cost?

People still continue to buy clothes even although they are aware that they were probably made by children in sweatshops.

Knowing that the internet can encourage rogue elements in society, that it can have a negative effect on family life and social interaction and can, potentially, indirectly affect children's health, doesn't cause a roadblock on the information superhighway. People also find that it can be a useful tool or can have a positive impact on their personal quality of life, so keep using it.

How many wish to cut down on their foreign travel frequency, knowing that air travel damages the environment through pollution and involves the consumption of very large amounts of natural resources?

At the end of the day, people aren't willing to make that sacrifice. Once they get back to their real life, it's too difficult to give up the things that they have become used to.
