Nanolane Sets Up Demonstration Centre in China 03-08-2011

In 2008, China overtook the United States in the number of scientific publications in the domain of nanotechnology for the first time. Such growth is not just the luck of the draw but due to a financing policy which the Chinese government have been carrying out since 2000, which has created large clusters all over the country around the great economic centres (Beijing, Shenyang, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Hong Kong), entirely dedicated to nanotechnology.

Nanolane (www.nano-lane.com ) had a duty to be commercially present on this global scene. In order to do this however, a trustworthy partner with full knowledge of Chinese ways and customs and who shared our values of innovation and conquest had to be found. Therefore, quite naturally, the Chinese company of the Eolane group 'Eolane Technology' (http://www.eolane.cn/ ) was thought of as the ideal solution. On top of all the required qualities, Eolane's Chinese unit is located at Suzhou where a "Nano City" is coming into being with a 2.5 million square metre laboratory and office area, and 1 billion Euros invested every year.

"China is for our business the fastest growing country. To further strengthen our position in this important market, we have agreed with Steven Shen, General Manager of Eolane Technology, to install a Demo Center in the Suzhou Unit. Chinese researchers are welcome to test our technology directly on their samples." said Philippe Croguennoc, Manager of Nanolane.
