Travel Grants make NanoPharm Mission Possible
Applications are invited from UK companies to participate in NanoPharm Mission 2010 to BioPharm America Boston and to apply for a £500 travel grant to make this possible. Organised by the International NanoMicroClub (INMC), a joint initiative between the Institute of Nanotechnology and the Nanotechnology KTN, this mission will provide unique opportunities to develop business in nano-enabled pharmaceuticals (biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and life science industries).
The NanoPharm mission will comprise:
- Brokering opportunities for UK nanotechnology companies with global partners
- Attendance at BioPharm America 2010
- A visit itinerary including the Massachusetts Super-Cluster, Boston
- NanoPharm Travel Grant for delegates
NanoPharm mission delegates may be eligible for a travel grant of up to £500 towards the cost of attending this event, will qualify for a $200 discount on the conference registration fees, and have the opportunity to take advantage of favourable hotel rates. Mission delegates can expect to forge new strategic partnerships by taking advantage of the excellent partnering facilities provided by the event organisers and can also apply to make a company presentation as part of the conference program1. In addition the International NanoMicroClub has organised a program of nanotechnology for health activities which will take place in and around the Boston area during the week of BioPharm America conference.

Apply Now for a NanoPharm Travel Grant
A travel grant of up to £500 is available for UK based SMEs to join the NanoPharm mission to BioPharm America 2010. Applications for this travel grant are now invited. Grants will be awarded on a competitive basis to assist with the cost of travel and hotel accommodation. The grant will cover 50% of these costs, with a maximum grant of £500 available to each company. Competition for grants closes on 4th June and successful applicants will be notified by 9th June 2010.
