About the
Nanotechnology Education Tree
The Nanotechnology Education Tree provides an introduction to nanotechnology and how it can be applied in different business and industry sectors. It also provides information on societal aspects, potential risks, the need for standards, some of the myths surrounding nanotechnology, a timeline of some of the key developments, and links to various EU-funded projects.
This resource has been adapted and updated from the Nanoforum Education Tree as part of the activities of the NANO-TV project.
NANO-TV is a support action (contract no. 233486) funded from 2009 to 2010 under the EU’s Framework Programme 7 (FP7) to provide a series of video news releases (VNR) that describe EU funded projects for European television and news broadcasters.
