Institute of Nanotechnology Launches NanoChina.cn

The fully-searchable NanoChina website now contains hundreds of news stories about nanotechnology in China, with all the latest news stories being added on a regular basis. As well as listing all the nanotechnology events that are taking place in China and Asia, NanoChina offers leading-edge nanotechnology reports (written by a nano-business expert) that cover a wide range of potentially lucrative nano-business areas. NanoChina will also soon be uploading knowledge base nanotechnology articles to the Chinese and English versions of the website.

Following its worldwide launch on Monday 6 February 2006, the NanoChina team has succeeded in attracting many visitors to the new website. From 6 to 28 February, the website recorded 5,751 visitor sessions, during which a total of 26,632 pages were viewed. In addition to this, a total of 680 people have so far signed up for the free NanoChina newsletter and free membership of NanoChina.

The main aim of NanoChina is to act as a bridge between the nanotechnology activities that are taking place in China and the rest of the world, with the aim of disseminating information and setting up nano-business networking opportunities. So visitors to the NanoChina website can use the high quality information services that are provided to help them start networking and growing business relationships with the nanotechnology sector in China.
